Biography
Katie investigates the reconfiguration of ‘innovation’ to generate social and environmental value.
In 2020 Katie built and launched the interdisciplinary module Innovation for Urgent Global Challenges.
Her work is underpinned by the growing recognition that responding to some of today’s pressing challenge issues including malaria, antimicrobial resistance, and sustainability transformations, requires collaborative and inclusive innovation, new business models and new forms of cross-sectoral working.
